No snow here. Not even that cold. 30 miles down the road we have what I can only describe as "light flurries"............... Not quite enough to be snowed in but enough to cause every muppet on the road to drive at 6mph on A roads!!!

You failed to get out of the village 'cuz of a couple of inches of snow? There's been several inches of snow here for a few days and er... nothing's ground to a halt, shocker! I swear people are whipped up into an snow-phobic frenzy by the gutter journalism on GMTV, predicting CHAOS and CONFUSION before any snow even fell on England.

Nobody in my hosue is out today either, not even gonna give it a try with my mums 4x4 Remember all youz landie and rangie owners (as I found out years ago when I had me old lightweight) No grip is no grip with 2 or 4 wheel drive! sliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide aaaaaaaand stop! Most town 4bies with their road tyres will be no more use than any other type of car.

The beetle is tucked up in the garage, the camper is in a barn and the Golf has gone to work with SWMBO so all I have left is the Merc van in the snow Further down the carpark theres a mini RR huddle of Ovlov, Nova and Pug 205

Had a nightmare drive to work today (Milton Keynes) in my Beemer 318i, going up hills at 2mph and drifiting all over the place due to a complete loss of traction! Got to the car park and I got stuck trying to reverse my car... Since getting to work (finally), the snows really coming down.
RWDs FTW!

Well, yesterday, the missus is very upset when she gets home. First day in years we are actually due some snow. And her wipers for the front stop working. And instead, the front switch is operating the rears, and she has no washer function.
And then this morning we have snow. Still, at least she got my Octavia to use as I'm not at work, and I fixed hers. The washer fuse had blown and that was enough to confuse a VAG wiper brain and make it reverse the actions of the switch and disable some of the other actions. Just need to nip out on foot and get some fuses now.
