Is what my mates said when i mentioned i quite fancy getting a Yugo 55 ;D I know they are probably right but they were based on the Autobianchi A112 Abarth (one of my favourite cars) Were powered by the N/a version of the 1300cc sohc Uno turbo motor, also found in X1/9 as a 1300 and 1500,and in 1400cc in thepunto turbo, and in 1600cc mk1 punto sporting, They also built rally versions, What do you guys reckon have i finally gone retro-mental or would it be a worthwhile project? Cheers Adrian P.s They can also look like this P.p.s Reminds me of early Golf/Polo? P.p.p.s Ayone got one for sale? ?

What a ludicrous idea! It MUST be done!!! Would love to see one with a spicy engine, but looking bog-stock. I think they might have slight corrosion issues... wootage.

I'd love to see it done, i really would. i pass one sat around everyday . given the right treatment of quality bits, and it sounds like you know ya bits it could be ace, just what we need on here! Do it. I don't have any horror stories or dissing of em to do as i have never had one. There used to be a guy who thought he was a rally driver that thrashed us on our bikes on a bumpy road often. he was a nugget but don't let that put you off!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Built bu an RR member in the old SM days! Ah, there's my old girl! Cost be £50 from the scrappers and needed a couple of bulbs for an MOT. I miss her! Lowereing is easy, rip out the rear transerve spring, leave it on the bumpstops, and chop the front coils in half!

Just noticed the chromed wheel trims, they are aren't they? Genius. wonder how many SVA points that would be now!
