That is an awesomely simple engine removal. Just a headsup on the new layout of Flickr if you haven't found it yet: Some of your images aren't showing and if you follow the url it just takes you to the photostream. While it is a bit more hassle now to get the right url, if you click the ' ... ' on the right there is an option for downloads/all sizes and if you follow that you can get to an url for a definite size of your choice with appropriate url! Just like you could up until about a month ago when they changed it without warning...

Thanks Willem! It's basically the only way to get acces to the coolant hoses and get them connected varelse; Thanks, I was really struggling to get te photos online... This is not really an update. I'm a bit struggling to get the engine running. Sometimes it runs ( :yahoo:) and then is doesn't ( :headscratch:) So I went to my project sponsor Bas from Libacars in Barendrecht to get an set of immobilizer electronics and a few weeks later for an extra fuelpump. I am going to try this week, I'll keep you posted! In the meantime I made this clip, shot at the Libacars workshop and some of my own tinkering at home.

In the meantime I made this clip, shot at the Libacars workshop and some of my own tinkering at home. Angle grinder sparks at 1'37" hitting the rear side window doesn't look good. I made that mistake once with a Minor restoration, ending up with MIG weld/grinder spatter embedded in the glass. Doh!

It's always nice to notice your videos are being viewed with attention for detail! Thanks for the comment, it's always good to learn (even by your own or others mistakes). Believe me I was trying! Wearing goggles, gloves, ear protection, safety shoes and in the bottom of the frame you can spot the fire extinguisher (0:55" ).... At 1'50" I protected my camera with a piece of glass. (I paid more for the camera than the car ) More soon. I've been working on the cooling system.

And make sure it's not too loud. It's really easy these days

I'm very sorry it took me so long....
I have been busy the last year though.
Most of my spare time we spend upgrading an old pigs barn so we can use it for our woodworking projects.
Of course I needed to work
And we spend our occasional holliday
I'll be back (...) Right now I am tidying up our garage to get back on the job. More soon! Piet
