whilst looking for a new house round suffolk today, I saw one house owners toy (at a secret location!!!). After the normal house blurb, I got chatting to him about this. he's had it since new ! its only got 65,000 miles on the clock. & whilst not concours - is pretty bloody mint. the new house he is moving to has no room for it, so it HAS to go. he also said that because it must go, he wouldnt ask silly money for it. whats it worth ? would anyone here be interested in it ?

shame its a facelift as they don't fech as much but could still be worth anything between £700-£1500 depnding on condition and model

Modena green! My eyes, my eyes.
I presume its T&T?
Points against it are its a facelift, L model, vinyl roof, the colour.
Plus points are condition, history and that any Mk3 is worth good money these days.
What engine, what trans. That seems to make a difference too.

no free tax - but rarer in green
send it to Ireland and make a hefty profit (not 'cos its green, free irish tax and no MOT)
look at the prices irish dealers are wanting for half tidy mk3's

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Its not base spec its an L. Try find a base spec, rare as anything. A chap I knew had a very early base spec 1300 2 door in plain wrapper white. Cheapest Mk3 you could buy new.
