Just hoping someone can point me at a stockist of the extremely weird and obscure bulbs that Cibie use in their "Airport" square foglights? I freely admit I suck donkeys at googling but I'm damned if I can find them anywhere, and none of my local autofactors seem to have them on the shelves. They look like this: Find me a link and I'll be your best friend, eternal adulation and grotesque amounts of kudos await ;D

I'm looking at this on my phone but that bulb looks very like one I bought for a square Hella light. If it is I got it from Halfords. I'll have a look when I get a chance for number etc but I spent 5 mins in shop and compared to old one I had and found replacment no probs.

Halfrauds don't have them. At least, my local one doesn't. At least, the muppetitious shop assistant I asked "do you have these in stock?" to had never seen them before.... ....mind you, he did seem to have a room-temperature IQ, even for an Halfrauds employee, I imagine it comes as a wonderful surprise to him each morning when he finds anew that he has hands. Y'know, like babies do when they stare at them for ages, like "I have hands! Look! HANDS! How awesome is that!" H2 bulbs? No, not so much

As a part time Halfords employee i can confirm that we don't stock H2 bulbs we only do the more run of the mill stuff I'm afraid... ...But back in non halfords worker mode, why the hell would you buy bulbs from there?? you need a mortgage to afford half of them haha

I'm afraid I reached a tipping point with Halfords when asking for some wiper blades for my old daily ratter and the guy said they didn't stock them, they only held stock for the more common, mainstream cars. The car in question? An SW20 MR2. Errrr, yeah, cos they're really rare, aren't they? Sadly, my local factors just went bust.. and have been bought out by the halfords owners. That's another piece of useful, unique, independent England gone forever, then

As above just checked bulbs I have and they are part number 479 and are in Halfords packaging. I'm not saying this is the part number that you require but it does prove that this type of bulb is available in their stores.

Well there'll be a bit of difference between individual stores but we don't have them in ours, not that ive seen anyway, and ive seen enough of them to be sick to death of all things bulb related could just be old stock they were still selling off or something..

So in summary you definitely cannot buy these bulbs from any branch of Halfords as they don't stock them unless you can find a branch of Halfords that do stock them ..... Then you can buy them.
No wonder Halfords get a bad name

Lol, well I can confirm beyond any shadow of doubt that you can't buy them at my local Halfords... unless the planetary alignment is such that you can normally and I got them on a bad day.
...in fact, it's starting to look like in the wonderful borough of darkest Worthing, the only place you can buy them is on the internetz. Lost the will to live visiting the local motorfactors, only to get "that" sucking of teeth and a "Nahhhh, don't bother with old curse word like that any more, mate" or "Nahhhh, even back when they was popular, they wasn't exactly popular, naas what I mean?" or even "Nahhh, they're on back-order at the stockist and they dunno when they'll get any more in"
So I'll go to eBay and hope they don't arrive as silica powder after the post office gorilla's jumped up and down on the jiffy back a few times, lol

that's odd, they must be a very old set, as many pugs and jags and others use the airport in some form or another with a normal H3 bulb.
