wobble bolts and shuv some vw rims on there!
Oh and btw the only way your going to get some decent 12" rims is to make them youreself, they simply don't exist over 6" wide. Image did make them but they don't anymore and even if they did they were £1000+ a set
You need to get seriously far away from the box to make 12"ers work imo

Had the old dunlop's on my sprite (still got them in the garage waiting for me to refurbish them and stuff them onto my clubby) they're 12 x 5.5's, but as they're on an imp offset they stick out a hell of a lot more than the mini 12x 5.5's. Had to modify the arches- and ended up getting grp 2's after I ripped through the standard black special plastics. Struggled finding nuts to fit as well.. ended up getting a set of nuts at a show with the right sleeve to fit the holes, and then had to get them chopped down to size... oh and beware.. if they're slightly too long.. you get all sorts of weird knocking noises and stuff... pic for reference...

i think I'm gonna look a bit closer at those dunlop d2's. 12x6 is pretty wide, they'l look good with some group 2s or W&P arches IMO

bmw 3 series 13" rims go on with standard nuts, the early lattice type, e30 shape i think, look simular to compamotives, the only 13's i liked on my older mini, & did get bump steer or feel heavyer thatn 12's at all, they fit within the standard mini arches too a +offset but i don't know how much, jonspeeds have some for sale i think, if i find a pic i'll pop it on

;D ;D But to be truly out-of-the-box, they'd need to be 13's

The dunlops D2s are 10s, pretty rare compared to the old D1 - saw them the other day on a wheel hunt, and nearly bid...... but i cant realy afford new wheels atm.

my advice would be to avoid going on 13's unless you are planning to either spend a big wedge on some lighweight rims or you are a running a powerful?torquey engine. your steering will be very heavy with 7x13's also. standard steel hillman imp rims are virtually the smae as standard mini 12" rims aprt from being 5x12". the imp rims also will allow the imp chrome hubcaps as well

I have a set of 5x12 100+ alloys like the ones in the ebay ad on pg 2.
I started to refurb them but I havent got round to finishing them yet. I'm not sure what I am doing with them yet but let me know if you are interested.
EDIT: Sorry, just read last post. Good luck with the ones on ebay
