My last Sierra a few days before the accident That looks stunning Robinxr4i, gutted about the accident. It's the first car I've seen that's made me want to keep the stock bonnet. I'm in the process of tarting up my black xr4x4, and that's got me thinking about dropping it a bit. What suspension did you use? Cheers That one was on Gaz coilovers, which I'd recommend I've had two sets of Gaz coilovers on two different Sierras. Ride quality is excellent as is the handling.

Sierra - here we go again! He has an illness, it's not his fault.

I couldn't agree more both of mine are on gaz coilovers, even with the polybushes the ride is great

All the ones I seem to find are for cossie 4x4s. They won't fit an xr4x4 will they? Any tips on where to get them from?

Yes the cosworth 4x4 ones will fit, the only modification you may have to make is you may have to enlarge the lower shock mounting bolt hole on the rear arms, i know you have to on the non cosworth 2wd when fitting coilovers, oh and massage the inner wing on the rear passenger's side where the spring contacts, for some reason coilover springs rub on this side on sierras

Nice one, cheers. Got a price for gas ones to fit the Xr today, £100 more than cossie ones! Reckon it'd make any difference fitting 2 or 4wd cossie ones?

2wd front struts have a narrower diameter where they insert to the front hub than 4wd struts so they won't fit

I'm sorry for the negative but why would you promote rust in a car that rusts well without any help? To make up for it this is mine

To be honest I have done nothing. Today will however be a turning point, a skip will be due on my doorstep in 3 hours to clear all the curse word surrounding it and last weekend I took delivery of all the steel and roof sheets to build a workshop where it is currently sat (8m x 5m). This will allow me to strip it down and get the welding done and hopefully I will have a usable car by the summer.
