Well, not really spotting......these four Bedford CF's are but a few of the vehicles owned by my dad....so it can't really be considered 'spotting' since I knew where they all were.... ;D
1974 CF wrecker, rescued from a scrapyard in Cradley Heath in 1998...crane/spec-lift is by Holmes and believe it or not it all works...despite appearances it IS road-legal, but is to be re-cabbed next year as the dreaded tin-worm has got to that one in a big way. Powered by a Perkins diesel meaning it's not the quickest thing in the world, but will go up the side of a house if you need it to.
1983 CF2, single-wheel dropside with 2l CIH Opel petrol....used by my sister's boyfriend the last three years as a builder's hack, just sailed thru yet another MOT.....goes like stink but very lively on the back end.....I keep telling him to drop an injected Manta lump in it do we can go CF drifting but he's having none of it.
1976 CF250 petrol luton....rescued from a field near Worcester, was on the road but the engine's absolutely shafted, a rebuilt 2.3 is ready to slot in when he gets time.
1982 CF2 camper...Dad gutted and rebuilt the interior in this shortly after he bought it, it's got a great big king and queen bed in the back, shower, bog, DVD, TV, leather seats...he replaced the Opel 2.3 diesel last year after it let go while in Cornwall but future plans include a Frontera turbodiesel and an A-frame on the back to pull the '69 Mini he's storing in my garage.
