you could try aviva, I'm 20 and they insure my MGB GT for £740 3rd party fire and theft, fully comp was a few quid more, an orion is a bit different to an MGB but worth a try and its not a classic policy, just a standard one

Why does it need to be on a classic policy?
At 20/21, I was having great success with Brentacre (www.brentacre.co.uk) though I've found as I've got older and drifted out of their target market, they've got less competitive for me.
Sky insurance (http://www.skyinsurance.co.uk/) were very competitive for me this year and cover younger guys. The phone call to them was informal to the point of being a bit unprofessional and annoying, but I've only got speak to them once or twice a year! Lancaster were really good for my classic and worth a call too. I have polices with both at the moment.
It hasn't been until this year that I've started to get reasonable quotes from the likes of Adrian Flux, Footman James etc. as I've been too young for them to want to touch me. I'm 24. Horror stories from others and REALLY pushy phone people put me off Adrian Flux though.

Could try Lancaster but they are quite particular about what is a classic (my 89 MX5 wasn't).
