To get a standard A40 this low, you'd have to dig a hole to put it in

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Car: C110 Skyline Year: 1973 Power: No idea. Time: 16.3 Name: Michael Excuses: Completely standard rear suspension with shocks and springs as old as the car and very old tires.
Still, 1.5seconds faster than when tested when new, the only thing I've done is put a S130 280ZX 5speed box in and Twin Hitachi SU's from a 240Z, everything else that would factor is stock as rock. I think with the N42 head and some better tyres, springs and shocks it would be a 15 second car. With L28, perhaps a 14 second car. I'm not too fussed though.

Somewhat belatedly, the times have been added. My web guy (aka Lewis) was otherwise occupied with other projects. BTW Mitch, I couldn't add yours because you didn't say what your car was...

Yep, belongs to a guy called 'Stevieturbo' on www.v-8.org.uk - here's a link to a video of his quickest run (10.04 @ 148mph) media.putfile.com/stevieturbo-1004--148mph-Santa-Pod-Oct-06I believe it has a supercharged LS1 motor making approx 735bhp... It's one hell of a car Saw a granada mk2 at santa pd rwyb in october, running low 10's......... was a large alloy V8, supercharged, intercooled and nitrous, called "the Beast" anyone know it? Tax disk was northern ireland, but I didn't manage to catch the owner.
