	Apols if this has been on before but I think it is worth another look for those that haven't seen it. The engineering is totally jaw dropping. I just can't tell if he is a genious or as mad as a box o frogs....

	Box + frogs I think. Stunning piece of engineering though, it reminds me of my nan's neighbour who made his own working scale steam trains. Those halcyon days of childhood came flooding back!

	Yeah you would have to! having built that and not got some rat or summat to test drive it would do my head in!

	making it RC would be cool but I reckon it would be quite slow comared to a lot of RC cars. some get scale speeds of 300mph! it still should be done edit: actually it may be quite quick if the speed is accurate (ie 1/3 of the real thing)

	Incredibly impressive stuff. According to the guy's site, it runs 8hp @ 10500rpm. Only weighs 60kg, so it would probably be quite quick.

	8hp is well enough, my 1/8 truck has about 3.5 hp and that shifts!! All depends on the gearing though, but his repl;ica has a working 5 speed ;D NEEDS to be done!
