My dad used to have one of these. It was a sod to start but lots of fun to drive.  thats either a fordson dexta or e1a super major damn you're good! Just a Major, not a Super Major. The Super Majors had different bodywork at the front. My "Riding in a JCB" moments involve one of those. |

ahh! I thought dexta because of the white grille, most majors had red mesh grilles. not sure what bobz has posted yet.....

Is it a Reliant or Middlebridge Scimitar? The RWD one Princess Anne got nicked for speeding in, not the XR3i derived one.
IIRC later ones had a black bumper and that does look like a Reliant rear light. Vauxhal Viva light cluster originally, am I right?
