Hiya, welcome  Nice motors there  Which one has gone the Jag or Benz? The merc is further proof that matt black works 100% of the time The Merc is the one that's gone. But it looks like I'll be having Dez's petrol one instead, which will be cool! The same shape with a bit more power  you came over to the light then nice to have you Hello Mike Yes I've seen the light I think you'll find thats a BMW 3.0cs ;D  indeed it is CSL And yes he still has it, needs a bit of work now though  But it will be done  |

It seems to run in the family though you've seen the pics then |

Hmm, I imagine performance of that bug is somewhat hindered by the lack of wheels? Some curse word pinced them!! But I've asked santa for some more |

Is des still building some crazy beetle rod thing? I once saw him on VZi battling with a hellish-looking VW shell which, although recognisable as a beetle had totally changed shape! Restecp to the lad for it like, did he get it finished?

Dez will be by shortly to tell all I daresay It's a 49 shell I think, with some SERIOUS chop, and he's got a "hot" 356 Porka engine to sling out back , it should be mental! Personally, I love his plans, but like all Dez's machines, they're the kinda shizz I love other people to have.. I couldn't own something like that myself... I'd never get my hair in there! |

I hope it's going to keep the drooping rear side window (but obv cleaned up, rather than having a normal bug shaped one) as that would look very cool & really accentuate the lines!!

I'd never get my hair in there! that dave guy knows a little about onions, the bug is a '49, 7" chop, rear 1/4s shortened 13", fenderless, suicides in progress(using stock hinges and real pre-54 doors) ive got a 356 1720cc, cammed, bursch extractor exhaust, twin zeniths, that was gunna go in another cab but it think is going in this one now. suicide drilled pop front beam, bug brakes, cowl steering, trekker rear brakes, reverse rims, big crossplies, etc. its 'out to pasture' at the mo, mostly cos ive been channelling this for a mate, as well as fitting a rolled front panel, custom dash, steering column, transmission rase, new modified pans, custom seats, and loads more.     full buildup here- z13.invisionfree.com/VolksRods_UK/index.php?showtopic=1076&st=0oh yeah, and ive jsut bought a very,v ery big destraction- all steel '28 sedan!  |
