Working flexi-hours allows me to squeeze my working week into 4 1/2 days leaving me with Friday afternoons off. The weather was really grim this afternoon so instead of sitting on the sofa scoffing biscuits and watching a video or something like most people would do, I went up to the scrapyard and trudged around in oily, muddy water for an hour or so and took my camera along just incase there was anything interesting. Excuse the shonky camera work but it was chucking it down Battered 924 These are disappearing fast Low Polo, although it did have a 205GTi on the roof! Audi 100 2.2 manual

These have been here for ages, I've posted them before but I guess there isn't much demand for Avante parts! I think I have posted this before as well Still with the engine fitted And lastly, this lovely early Mk2 Golf With brown seats, door cards, dash and carpet And some nice touches like the chrome surround on the grille and the deep chin spoiler. How can people not want a car like this, it was so clean and why don't they call me before they send it here ;D

Maybe we should set up a scrapyard. We'll keep the smart stuff and crush the rest!
I used to have an old Audi 100. Quite nice but bloomin' huge! Gorgeous sounding engines.

Don't suppose you noticed what state the dash was in on that 924 at all? Decent ones are like poor quality wobbly children's play pony droppings.

Those old Spacewagons still get very good money due to number of seats, that one looks tidy it must have serious faults to get itself a pass into that place.

was gonna say, that steering wheel is worth a few bob to a golf perv.... also the brown dash is fairly desirable to someone making a beige euro-look but the 16 days hard labour needed to remove it in one piece is a problem.
fairly odd-spec golf though, chrome trim and deep spoiler/arch trims.

That's not Hughes at Bicester perchance? A lot of Oxfordshire plates. Yeah it is, it's a bit of a trek but they usually have some good stuff in there. Don't suppose you noticed what state the dash was in on that 924 at all? Decent ones are like poor quality wobbly children's play pony droppings. It was up near the yard office so I was too keen on uncovering it, it doubt it would have been any good anyway. You should get that steering wheel!! They're canny rare and can be worth ££'s You read my mind... I haven't seen one before, it's stamed with the VW/Audi logos and fitted straight on
