I want to do something like that with a Cossack/Ural/Neval Sov block old Skool BMW twin based bike. Reckon with a flat twin you could get seriously low but might burn your knees on the cylinders.

just because I'm in a kind mood, heres another uk built zero chop. resides in norfolk, but that doesn't stop it being really cool zero generally refers to the style- heavily raked frames, springer forks, 16" wheels, firestone crossplies and a very low shilouette(sp). they use harley parts because its a statement- they're uber expensive in japan. not becasue of importing the stuff, harley had they're first overseas manufacturing plant built outside tokyo in the mid 30's, its just the way it is, like 2 door escorts over here. oh, the shovelhead above is featured in BSH no. 264, april 06. along with 2 of chicaras bikes

trg1984 in da house: OCC are wibblepoo mate, hahaha. they might aswell buy legos kits and put em together on tv.
OCC is not really up my alley but to knock them and call their stuff Lego you have to have some real cool bikes built by you'r high an mighty self, let's se some pix. It's easy to be an "armchair" builder, isn't it!?!??!?!?!?!
The "dude-san" (can't remeber his name) sold of Zero Engeneering and moved to Pasadena California and set up a small shop (complete with translator) to build bikes "Zero Style with a twist" and what I know from a friend who visited, he's dooing really well.....
Chicara Nagata has taken the "Zero" koncept to the next level, his AMD winner is one awesome bike and it's fun to see that styles are a changing, Chica #1, Stellan #3 and Isto #6 with real of-beat bikes. Some of the custom bike (not chopper) builders are looking in many different directions, Roland Sands with the Suzuki MotoGP powered KR5, Jesse Rook with KTM powered Darla and the Goldammer board track racer with ½ a supercharged Harley and this stuff I really like......
DP says: Custom Bike Show 2007 in Norrtälje will see yet another twist on the "cusom bike" DP style...

tgr1984 in da house: and I don't really see why they're in the spot light so much
Maybe because an "angry dad" and his crew throwing chairs and beeing abusive makes better TV than a guy like Isto and his Chemical Chopper crew beeing psycedelic and mellow.....
DP says: I don't know but I have a feeling.......
