In two weeks time I should have a similar looking process underway (not the bike carbs, the paint!), I am looking forward to pitching myself head first into the project again.
The polo is looking tops, I love it when you lay paint on, gives you the first opportunity to accurately visualise just what the completed result is going to look like.

The original colour does look a bit orangey at times. must be the lighting. great progress. would love some painting workshop action!

lacquer culd've gone funny cos of the cold fog that's been around recently? I had some bloom on me a while back.

yeah, it was a mixture of the cold and the fact than 1l of laquer wasnt enough. I sort of got one coat on, but not thick enough so it dusted in places, the cold made it fog in places and the gun spat a bit too. Add to that the fact i hit the bonnet with the hose  . It may polish up, if not its flat back and re laquer i think. |
