It was very strange but I'm still quite proud of my subconscious for coming up with it. I've got a couple too many projects at the moment although the situation is dramatically improving. It seems that this has leaked through into my sleeping mind  - I dreamed I had bought a Porsche 928 - not just any one though, an accident damaged white automatic with a rather fetched plastic gear leaver gaiter. It was, in every respect, exactly the same as this one:  I took it to a track day at a circuit I appear to have completely made up in my head, where an instructor decided to do a burnout in it and toasted the 'box. I woke up absolutely convinced that I now had to find the money to fix it. Plus, when I actually went round the back of the car, the rear lid and roof were all dented and it needed loads more bodywork than I'd thought. I've just googled the interior and the gear lever gaiter is exactly as I'd imagined   I'm now looking forward to my poor car purchasing skillZors turning up in another dream tonight ;D  I know it's a bit "Take a Break" but I was so astounded that I had to share it! |

Yep I've just checked ebay to make sure there aren't any cheap, white 928s on there Mystic bloody Meg style but luckily they're all expensive |

Yeah well lets hope my retro dream from the other night doesnt come true - just picked up a Mk4 Cortina that I`d bought (2.0S as well) and the air raid siren went off, the 4 minute warning came through on the push button radio and nuclear war had broken out! Slightly took the edge off it all, really. That was a good`un to wake up from. Fortunately the interior of a 2.0s is nothing like I`d imagined it so I reckon were ok.

Oh this one was mint! Still, even nuclear war aint as big a nightmare as a 928 that needs a new box! Could have been worse, could have wanted a bonnet (£4k I believe)

I have had a few retro dreams recently, one befor last was a bit boring, but the last one i was getting into drifting, ever since i have been dieing to have a go; a slippy clutch MR2 and public roads are not ideal to learn on so i'd better resist for now. And yeah its always easier if you find out that lusted car is still too much money, saves having to buy it! |

I dreamed I got stung by a massive wasp the other night. Not very retro but there we are. Maybe I got taken to casualty in an old Mk1 transit ambulance or something.

yeah defo! in fact that one is parked in front of the manky backstreet 'hospital' where it would have taken me to get my wasp sting 'dealt with' by a dirty fat guy known simply as 'the doc'.

I dreamed on Saturday night that I bought a Red Mk3 Cavalier GLSI 16v with 150'000 miles on it.
The steering wheel was all worn and it seemed really realistic.
Suppose one way to look at it is least my Dream cars are easily attainable LOL

I dreamt that I got lost in Martley in the mini... Oh hang on... Then I dreamt that I drove the mini from Martley to the Pod... Oh yeah... Then I dreamt that I needed new rubber so splashed out on some Yokohama A008 165/70 R10 72H , BW asymmetric rubber.. So I did that today.. Now I just need to pov a set of 10" revo's with rubber on for "winter use" |

I had a dream where I had shedloads of old motors, but none which I could actually drive, an empty wallet and zero time to enjoy them..... Oh, sorry that was reality I do get lots of retro dreamin' though.... The other day I had one where I was travelling with somone off here in a retro car (May have been reanimation & the MR2) when we were in collision with a moped ridden by a giant cookie monster wearing a chicken costume. Everybody died. curse word'd up! |
