I sold a new old stock wiper motor for a 240Z once and some dude in the States paid Just over £200 for it. I only listed it at a fiver! I also sold an old Hot Wheels Chevy Camaro...one of the old redline wheels one from about 1960. I bought it at a boot sale for 20p and somone paid over £100 for it ebay. I can't find the link now but I recently saw a UK spec AE86 go for £10K! It was nice condition I admit but hardly concours or anything, and it had something like 70K on the clock. Crazy people out there.

some of the muscle car stuff sells for insane prices. A guy in the US has recently got jail time for restamping Rochester carbs with different date codes. A Rochester with a 1977 date code is worth $10 and a Rcohester with a 1968 date code sells for $5000. Same carb in every way, except the date code, which you can;t see when its installed anyway...
