I have my MK3 GTI 16v for sale,
6 months tax on it. £120 and the MOT runs out late may. v5 present.
its got a 40% compression leak on it.
head was changed beforehand £180+ so i'm guessing its just the block thats the problem.
great car apart from the problem.
looks nice when polished up
few minor cosmetic bits like side mirror covers £10 from a scrapyard but all else is good.
Tyres all above board
new clutch 3 months back £80 and driven less than 1000 miles since.
new slave cylinder. £50
was up for £700-800 before this.

engine is temperamental but its still a good car.
break it and you'd still get a fair bit.
