What are you currently trying to achieve? Whats your inspiration and garage pin-up? What particular photo/drawing/picture/photoshop is driving your project at the moment? Mine is still this IMO perfect GT6, lovely Damson colour, black/polished Revolutions and the American body coloured over-riders. Every time I look at it, its nudging me to save up more, and hopefully, due to change in circumstances, I may well be able to achieve that goal in the next year. _0051607 by kptyson, on Flickr I just need to actually find a Damson/Dark Red Mk3 GT6 now......

Pretty much what's in my sig but all finished! Bit more power, bodywork, reliability, or actually just being made back into a car depending on which one it is....
Oh yeah, and the addition of a DeLorean, Cortina and some random decked Yank saloon from the 70s/80s. ;D

Fresh steel in place of rust, new paint, door seals that work, soundproofing, & also no oil leaks.

Rotiform BLQs and air-ride. Lottery win pending. On what? On the bog-standard Leon Cupra. First realistic step - as a 30th birthday present to myself in April - will be a Milltek exhaust from AmD. (No pics as it's not RR fodder...) The other thing I'm working towards is an awesome Capri: the plan is to start with a solid base, fit a 24v 2.9-litre V6 from a Scorpio Cosworth, spray it Cayman Blue like my old one and go for the full-on South London look - wide polished four-spokes, nice and low, the works. But I won't be starting this till 2015...

My goal is pretty realistic - simply to get my car to start and run reliably (something i haven't managed to do in several years of owning it)
this year i will need to deal with several rust bubbles before they get worse too. i would like to fit some lower profile tyres and finish off the interior too but apart from that and despite it being a rolling resto and used when i can i just want it to be "finished" - need the money though (which is a fairly major stumbling block)

I kind of there tbh, but it's with a modern.
I have dreams but they are subject to a windfall.

This photo inspired my entire project. I stumbled accross it on ClubGTI a couple of years ago and decided that I would turn my white track MKII Golf into a replica of this car. I have a deadline of 24th May as I have a trackday booked. It currently looks like this: IMAG0097.jpg by Nicholas R Horne, on Flickr Not much more to do, lol. Nick

I want the new engine in the Vitesse and to last the season without blowing it up! I also want to make 10" wide rims for it for comedy purposes.
I'd also like to get the Merc pimped out a bit

ive taxed worse! But seriously i've got plans to build a pretty quick Polo 6n with the mk5 Golf GTSport 1.4 TSI (Thats the supercharged & Turbo'd engine with DSG box & 170bhp) Its based on the same 1390CC block as what comes n the polo as std, just need to sort out mounts and use the whole wiring and loom from the golf so the diagnostic all work!
