So, ever since that Lada, or one very much like this anyway; I have always fancied having a Rising Sun somewhere on my car, even though it's not Japanese (broken Dolomite). I put it to a vote on my FB earlier and got a 50/50 split, with one "Yes, but only after you fit a Wankel" I'm rubbish with photoshop so haven't even attempted it. So, I come to you asking for any pics you have or can find. Extra points given for 3 box saloon shapes. Perfect example. Not what I'm after, but chuck it up anyway; More please!

That would be perfect if it was off-centre. The quality of the work looks brilliant. Could you do the bootlid like the Lada? Maybe continue the stripes down the back where the plate is? I don't know if they're all like that but I;ve seen Dolly's with that part done in black.

I can't remember which ones got the black rear panel, mine does anyway. I'm currently edging towards doing the roof.

(Just an idea) I missed this one yesterday, sorry! It's an old Triumph, I get plenty of flak for driving it as it is anyway! Probably going to paint it, the paint is knackered anyway. So if I don't like it, I can just get rid when I do the rest of the car. Was thinking body coloured (cat sick, sorry, 'sandglow' bleh) background with the usual red bit... We'll see. Anyone got any more?

Sadly my mate sold it a couple of months ago. That's interesting, I was always under the impression that this is a Mk1 GTi (although I know there are early leaf spring 'Mk1's' and later coil spring ones): That car is the same shape as mine. In fact that car donated it's running gear to mine when it was scrapped. And to keep this thread on topic, but slightly Swiftish:

Has the 75 hp 1.3 8V carb engine and nice interior . It was wearing the later style front bumper, because of some unwanted offroad action
