Wow, thanks for coming here to offer up this opportunity. Gonna study my CV and see if any bits match up.
What level of spanner skills do you require? Looks like it would require a move of home, is the pay really that bad?

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Many years ago I changed my driving style to cope with rising fuel prices; I have now reached the stage where I am contemplating keeping my eyes shut in order to lower wind resistance.

^ Or Holland ...it's 25 Year ROLLING Exemption
Or France ...when car is of a certain age (about 30+) you can appliy for Certificate d'accient ...thus your car will then have official Historic status and due to you being 'an enthusiast' they deem you do not need a periodic mechnical inspection (M.O.T /Control Technique)!

Like wise. I did a stint for a couple of weeks as uni work experience, covering for the technical writer for total bike. He decided to take a holiday that coincided with the 2 months leading upto issue 1 and a trade show where they were going to launch. I knew the deputy editor from one of his other jobs so i asked if they had any work experience going. Didn't expect to be a one man test team and get published. Later after that I did some review work on the "user revue" panel for Linux User mag. Although I changed day jobs and didn't have time to carry on reviewing after the first couple of software items though. Still, more published work there.
Oh and I know how to cross thread important studs while on photoshoot running upto deadline, and how to drop or break expensive spanners and sockets. Oh and I'm out of work. Oh and I'm a proper "hands dirty" web developer too. Pity I don't live in Peterborough really.

Need more emphasis on the URGH AND I feel you actually need to physically shudder when saying the 'URGH' Like Homer thinking of Pattys unshaven legs.
