Hi All, I'm new to this forum and from a small town west of Chicago Illinois. I just purchased a 1978 BMW 530i in very nice condition. I am looking for similar front and rear spoilers as iane has on his beautiful E12. I'm not sure if these are "Euro" only parts as I have not been able to locate them in ASAP. Any help finding these would be greatly appreciated. I'm thinking about starting a build thread of this project as well. I have considered the Euro bumper change, but not sure. Regards, Tim |

Trying out some 17" BBS Style5 on the 5 today. Top pic has 17" and the bottom pic has the 18" on...  Need to split them and refurb them though as they are in a bad way! |

So the staggered 17"s Style 5 are now away for refurb. Here is a close up of them...  Should be a few weeks then I need to figure out what tyre size I need etc. |

Not much in it but the 17s just look better for me. More in keeping with body size and era. Still a lovely car

now fitted the staggered 17s style5s...  Big thanks to Dips at Custom Cars in Hayes for refurbing the wheels for me. Spec - F - 8x17 et10 205/40/17 Falken tyre with 15mm spacer R - 9x17 et19 215/40/17 Falken tyre no spacer. Haven't had to adjust the ride height either although it is now closer to the ground which is already causing an issue on my driveway!!! |
