Hi,
After I lower my Passat b4 (35i) with a kit who lowers 40mm and with 205 tyers I have some issues with my original wheel arches (front)
The tyers have made some damage to them - and the more I think about my problem, the more I see I need to fit wide arches on it.
So my question is, is the only option to buy some universal or can I use wide arches from to an example Mk2 VW Golf or another car?

205s are massive tyres for one of these- itll honestly drive a hell of a lot better on something in the 175-195 region. ive driven various ones ive had very hard on both 175/50 and 195/45, with no loss of traction, in fact they turn in better on slightly narrower tyres. remember the stock tyres for one of these is a 165/70R14!

Have you rolled the arches? A gentle compassionate kiss with a piece of pipe of suitable girth showed between the tyre and arch should take care of it

Hi guys and thx for the replys! This is how my front wheel arches looks right now. Left: Right: Due to one of the arches is looking bad due to rust I where also thinking that to fit a unversal wide arch could help... This is rear left: To explain, currently we have winter in Norway so the rims on it is the snow-tyers
