This elicited an oof from me... and MG Maestros don't normally do that. Of all the cars above! Haha, I guess that's Retro Rides. Looks like an interesting meet/show. Not every day you see an E-type abandoned halfway up a kerb stone ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

I've just spotted one of my mates in one of your pictures Speedman, stood to the right of the Citroen. Yet again, it's harder to get a show closer to my house. Yet again, I completely forgot. Hmmf. Great pictures though!

Shame about the Transit lump, although I understand completely why it's been done. Really needs a smoky V8 diesel. I frickin LOVE COEs, that one being no exception.

i really need to find me some sort, no any sort of COE body- ive sorted out the running gear for it to sit on, and i want to build me a hot rod car transporter!
i bet shipping wouldnt be too horrendous if i just brought in a cab, unless i can find something british to use, a commer karrier or something.

I've been to this the last couple of years but missed this one as I needed to be at some family thing. shame as it's probably my favourite show of the year, you get such a variety of cars and it great to see them just dumped clogging up the A30 ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) .

That Mk3 Cortina is sweet. I thought it was small block Ford though? I have some photos of it from a show a year or so back.
The big red Dodge Polara is my choice of OOOF though

A cheap way into a rally car? ![](http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa65/sethke/Classics%2012/PhoenixNYD/Nydphoenix_007.jpg) The owner of that is on the VOC forum & IIRC, it does get used for historic rallying ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) I think this Amazon deserves two photos. ![](http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa65/sethke/Classics%2012/PhoenixNYD/Nydphoenix_075.jpg) Such a good look for these. ![](http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa65/sethke/Classics%2012/PhoenixNYD/Nydphoenix_076.jpg) I know - just wish these wheels & others of a similar ilk weren't quite so expensive in the UK!!!

Yeah it had a 6 with a 3 speed box, The 1st gear being totally useless as it was so short, You didnt need it. Basically meaning it had two gears and a top speed of sweet FA ;D

This Mk3 Cortina looked mega hard in a subtle way. Made loud noises as it left too. ![](http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa65/sethke/Classics%2012/PhoenixNYD/Nydphoenix_043.jpg) I think I remember seeing it being built at Namco in Farnborough, on my many trips past to gaze in wonder... I thought it was Ford-powered too, although I could be wrong.

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.
