Proton truck, 1468cc. This is on a private place S222 HAS , but was 04 reg. (MX04 PGK)  Bedliner, alloys. Tax and mot 68,000 miles. Just had a towbar fitted but the electrics have not been done for it. Does have some marks (rub line on roof where it had a canopy on at some point) and there is a stone chip on RH door which has gone scabby. Can only find 3 of these on Autotrader , cheapest is £3000 Has remote central locking, with two keys, power steering. Drives very nice but seems to idle rough.

Not to detract from this advert, I do like these Jumbucks, but I have to disagree with the Mods. I don't think its fair that a lot of other For Sale threads are locked when this isn't. Its a standard car from 2004 Its not within the rules so it should be locked. You can't just pick and choose. retrorides.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=gae&action=display&thread=118910I kind of agree with Dez and Al that the age of cars on here has got younger, and whilst "retro is a frame of mind" apparently (something I've I don't think I've ever said, and don't agree with), we should be encouraging older cars, otherwise we're just another modified car site. |

There is a cut off of 2000 and even when a 2000 car is listed, you get told it is too new (as I have been told in he past), so I don't see why this should be an exception to he rules.

From the rules: As a general rule, if it's 2000 or newer don't expect it to stay on the board. There are exceptions if a car is interesting, rare or modified in a style the moderators approve of but those decisions are made by moderators and are not negotiable, sorry. It's not a power trip, it's not favouritism...the staff are unpaid and the board is free to use - there is no other motive than to make RR a cool place to find interesting cars. Mods decided exception. End of conversation. |
