I'm on the Herefordshire boarder.  We should sort out a Herefordshire retro meet sometime. Excellent, I love the old RX7's a guy in Hereford had a light peppermint green coloured one that used to park over the road from my mum's house not seen it for a couple of years though. A Herefordshire meet would be an idea, won't have the car ready just yet though a slight possibility toward the end of the summer. Is there a way of setting up a group or list of local members so that they could be contacted if/when. |

Mornin Chaps,
I live in Bishops Frome, so not too far from some of you. I have some bigger tools, engine hoist, engine stand etc if any of you ever need to borrow them.

Another Ledbury resident here - originally a sarf Lahndun lad but been here 15 years now.
Retro wise I have a 1957 86" Series one Landrover (in many pieces)
A 1968 (ish) Marlin running Triumph Vitesse bits (in many pieces)
A 1990 Mk2 Golf 5 dr. 1.6TD for my son (whole, but resting)
and a 2000 Kawasaki zx9r (for occasional track days)
If we arrange to meet in about 2014 I'll be in something Retro - until then I'll hide the 'modern' round the corner.
So any suggestions for a decent car park attached to a Pub - more or less in the middle ?

I know that it is on my doorstep, but the Green Dragon in Bishops Frome has been awarded the CAMRA Herefordshire pub of the year twice in the last few years. More to the east of Hereford (In Herefordshire, but a Worcestershire postcode  ), but you could always invite the townies from Worcestershire along. Cheers Fraser |

Had to get rid of all of my old tat/cars when I moved in 2009. Went from a driveway with space for 8 cars to one with space for 2 :-( .

2008 - Renault Megane 1.5 DCi - Wife's car
Maybe this thread should be moved from the garage forum into general population, so more Herefordians can see it

If any of you lot have roadable retro Shobdon Airfield hold an open day with loads of vintage aircraft, army tanks and "classic" cars. The Herefordshire Motor Club always have a stand and if you come in something interesting..... you get in for free and they provide you with lunch!!

I'm here in Tewkesbury but always looking for an excuse to drive over your way in my 75 Mitsubishi Jeep.
If anyone knows of a good gearbox engineer in these parts please let me know as the Km141 4 speed needs a rebuild or replacing with something suitable.
