Lovely! These are rare here too, as apparently they're perfect for banger racing... The old ones are much better looking too. Maybe it's even built in finland?
I'm rather tired of minilites on saabs, but they fit this one oh so well! Nice steering wheel too.

Cheers Dude I don't mind the Ronals at all, as you said think they suit it. Was looking for other rims but nothing stands out at the mo.

Doing proper manly engineering stuff today, making gaskets lol. Had a water leak from what I later discovered was the water pump so got the gasket paper, did some tracing and cutting Colourtuned the carb mixture and sorted the choke cable, runs much sweeter now. Tried to set the timing but cant seem to find any reference markings. The pulley is marked though, more research required. Still cant work the brakes out, the servo is holding vacuum, the pipework is intact, the (front) calipers are not seized, bit of a head scratcher that one. But its close to MOT time

Huw, replied to your message, thanks Weasel, I love it, every time I see its cheeky face peering out of the garage it makes me smile. Yesterday took the rear pads out, free'd up the pistons, brakes have improved a bit, got a partial front wheel lock up on hard braking. Fixed the bonnet release cable, discovered a couple of holes in the rear arches, was a bit disappointed to be honest, but apart from a touch of surface rust on the roof its the only major rot on the car, the front end, sills and chassis are solid. Nothing a bit of welding wont sort out

I ran a '76 99 combi Coupe for a while, about 6 years ago, and loved it I paid the princely sum of £82 for it, from, the then, good old Bay, with no MOT etc, but found it very easy to work on, apart from the handbrake that works the front wheels. Sold it to a guy who flew down from East Kilbride to pick her up from me in Aylesbury
