I like that style of exhaust on the MR2, I enjoy the ridiculous ostentatiousness of it.

Love the stack dash, IMO they look good on the standard exhaust but there so big and heavy.

Some days you just need to take a grinder to an inanimate object, just to make your day a tiny bit better!!

That's a nice looking mr2 turbo, not a fan of kitted ones at all but that looks well proportioned. Still prefer stock bodied ones like mine though.

Great. Now got Ice Cube stuck in my head...
I quite like the exhaust on the red one... Perhaps in the bumper came down in the centre and covered some of them, it'd look a bit better?

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum

Just got a quote for £1150. Almost double what I'm paying atm on the Colt. I'll have to save up. Here are photos I took the other day of my brothers MR2, which doesn't really help my MR2 cravings either!

I want a mk1, though seeing this has improve my opinions on the mk2s. just see too many badly modified ones around which puts you off but that one is nice. And I like the exhaust.

I've just asked this on the lude material thread, but, do you guys think the MR2 is eligible for classic insurance, I know the mk1 qualifies, but what about the mk2?

Yup my rev1 turbo is on a classic policy costing just over £200 a year which is cheaper than my 1.5D 106 Not gonna complain as a 250+ bhp mid engine sports car bought and insured for sub £1500, its a shame that J parts cost so much I have bills for some of the stuff I've bought 2nd/3rd hand that were originally 4/5 times that, the used coilovers I bought for it would have bought me some very nice brand new items for the 106 yet I was lucky to get the MR2 ones that cheap.

thanks loud and proud, I'm guessing you have to have a second car to get a decent classical car policy then?

I was paying £500 on my 95' Turbo's policy. As an everyday car, unlimited mileage and all that gubbins. I think they are retro as they were introduced in 89', they just appear modern as they had a long life cycle.

....Wonder how long it would take me to hit a tree going backwards at 50mph! Judging by your Starlet, probably about 4 miles ;-)
