Well, what a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon I managed to stop myself from buying yet another set of wheels but did buy a couple of bits!! I must nominate Rich as the best haggler of all time, when he was in fact selling ;D (or just giving in fact) Nice to see some familiar faces and meet a couple of new ones as well. Thanks of course to the organisers, well done chaps as always, roll on the Gathering, I have a feeling it may very well live up to the already growing hype!

Did you ever get that wheel off? Yeah, thanks to Dez's array of spanners and Kev's guidance (I learned that Kev knows LOTS about these bikes!). After trying all manner of weird and wonderful sizes, turns out a 13mm did the trick! ;D

So who won what or is there a separate thread I'm missing? Bruce. Had a great day out, was so nice seeing people I haven't seen in ages. Witnessing the various selling techniques from Akku's relentless, buy it even though you don't need it else I'll follow you around with said item until you buy it out of pity to Kev's 'just take it' is a documentary waiting to be made. Hopefully this will be one of those growing events as it really does deserve it, can't wait for the next RR meetup now.

It was entertaining listening to the Hardcore sales pitch, even if the rest of the /hardcore/manta/pony/bognor stand was less than successful. A fun day was had, though I hadn't expected one of my co-standers to be my most prolific custoner January Jumble - A buch of blokes stood around having a nice time not selling very much. Cheers To HoTWire Keefy and crew for putting on the day.

Good fun yesterday! Nice to see some of you guys again, and nice to put a face to a few usernames! Came home with a bunch of magazines, a few US numberplates for the garage wall and a spare inlet manifold and carbs for the Rover. Happy Shopping! And big thanks to Paul H for a lift up there in the Amazonian Warrior. Em.

Looking through the pics posted above were they taken before the doors opened to the public or was it just very quiet buyer wise ? or just the sellers buying the good stuff before the general public came in .............
