There's a tyre-fitters on my street that has a brilliantly random display of retro wheels in the window: ...and when I look myself up on Streetview, there's a Ferrari 308 parked out there. How retro is your street?

There's a Citroen Dolly that occasionally appears but that's it, any other retro content has been thanks to me and/or Kev dumping his truck outside my house.

Apart from my collection there was a mint bay window VW camper imported from Belgium alongside a bay twin cab pickup! And an occasional visit of a Trimuph Herald convertible!

I own the three oldest cars on the street, so I'm doing my bit to make it more retro!

I'm in uni halls and the car park is pretty drab. I have seen a 106 XSi which is vaguely retro, and a slammed Jetta but only saw that once. Everything on the road outside is curse word. There's a super-clean MG BGT parked on campus though!
My road at home is possibly even worse. There's a guy with a R5 turbo on the road that comes off my road, but it's a real state.
Where my girlfriend lives (and I used to live) is pretty good. There's a mk2 Scirocco, mk2 Polo, E28, E30 and a couple of campers all within a couple of minutes.

SIII Landie up the road. But round the corner there's a very nice silver Sierra Sapphire on a K-plate, a rubber bumper MGB, a Datsun Bluebird and round the corner at the other end of the street are three Renault 9s.

Apart from mine, there is a lovely MK2 Golf GTI a few houses down(lives under a cover but comes out to play occasionally) and up the road lives a Scimitar GTE(Not ran in many years) and that's it sadly.

In my road is my t25 camper, fiesta RS turbo, mk2 golf gti 16v and EVO 5 (not retro but cool). The other thing thats cool is every single road on my estate is named after cars... So cool! All old cars too!

My road isn't too bad for Retro's...... Apart from my VW and 2 minis the bloke opposite me has a '63 Mini Cooper in his garage which he's been 'about to restore' for the 10 years I've lived here ;D Another neighbour has a Mk2 Scirocco road legal track car, and just round the corner are a Mk 1 Transit Doormobile, an MGB and a 50's Chevy pick-up google streetview of my road....
|
|
Currently driving a '68 Karmann Ghia as my daily. Don't ask about previous cars - there have been way too many and I stopped counting at 160!
