Noticed the car in the OP hiding in one of those group shots on some dark coloured Compos, so did a bit of googling and here it is, looks a lot meaner than on the Rondells(?), nice stance. Also, found a pic on Monte rims, which looks pretty smart too

Sorry that I'm a Ford based retard, but what was the difference between a Monte and a "regular" Cosworth? And a purple one for me please. They could have painted these cars in rainbow and they would still look like they were out to eat your children and your cat.

I am sure I have seen the one in the first post out on the road in the Preston area although I could be wrong but that registration rings a bell. Either way it is a very cool and rather immaculate Cosworth Yes you have - This car lives/ lived the other side of Preston - as per the post on Passion Ford. Owner has had many retro and fast fords.

as clean as the op one is and it does look nice. i just can't find myself getting exited by it the escort and sierra cossies have never really done it for me never worked out what all the hype was about kind of in the same way as lotus cortinas their saving grace was the cars to me have better lines than the late escorts and sierras but still a lot of hype over not a great deal really as far as i'm concerned

Love the Escort Cosworth myself and there was one at the 8Ball last month with a straight cut box ;D sounded and looked awesome. I prefer them without the whale tail personally, and sorry Mark, but the Sierra is one of my all time wants (amongst many other things )

Great looking cars. Come to think of it, I haven't seen one on the road for ages.

How recent are these photos? I thought this Reyland Cosworth was written off in Africa during the Gumball? Had no idea it had been rebuilt.

I hadn't seen one on the road for a few years, then one broke down in the works car park a couple of weeks ago. Still imposing out on the road.
