Model: Citroen AX 1.5D Year: 1996 Mileage: 99000 Tax: August 2012 MOT: March 2012 Location: Newcastle upon Tyne Price: £300 including £110 worth of tax The AX is a 1500 diesel with no gadgets at all, but it does have a radio cassette and rear wiper the mot runs out in March 2012, and the tax is until August 2012 Its a great little runner and its very good condition, and the interior is mint (apart from the drivers seat). I only have the green slip from the V5 as I just bought it recently, but the V5 will be filled out and sent off once it comes back I have checked everything out on it, and fixed anything thats broken with genuine Citroen parts only (receipts included). Price is £325 and its not going any lower

Been let down by a couple of timewasters, so £300 cash gets this, which is a bargain in anybodies eyes

Bargain!
Decent engine, will cost absolutely nothing at all to run and you will be able to flog it once you've got the winter out of it. Guaranteed to starts daily and with skinny tyres will get you where you need to be in the snow!
Free bump, i'm sorely tempted to pop up the A19 to get it but I don't have any use for it and I'd be dead meat if I dared even try it...

Our Xsara is up for sale, we're debating about downgrading to a smaller Pug / Citroen diesel (see where this is going ;D) or possibly just running the Hunter as the "do everything" car. Would be interested in viewing in case that decides us PM sent to see if we can sort something out

Just got back home ( about an hour to drive 45 miles - I'd better start getting used to this relaxed pace of motoring ) I like it already, picked the car up and the fuel gauge was showing just above empty - fairy snuff I thought. By the time we had got across Newcastle city center rush hour (aka gridlock ) the gauge was UP and showing 1/4 tank ;D Have left it outside for now, I'm hoping when I got out tomorrow it will be a full tank ;D No problems about the extra keys - will send them back asap Anybody noticed the odd ( sometimes VERY odd ) things you find out about previous owners when you get a new car home? Do you want your "Best of Johnny Cash - double album" casette sent back with the keys Looks like a fun little car, it made it home fine which is a good start, it's happy cruising at 60 (it's also flat out at 60 but who cares ;D), the stereo started playing out of both speakers after about 10 miles (so the stereo now is "stereo" - at least some of the time), all good news. It's always good to meet local folk, will catch up again sometime - see my sig for the gory details of the Hunter Cheers
