You know, you could probably haggle down from 399 for further win...
Buy the E36, keep the other 2 and walk around RetroRides like a boss. Its how we other playas roll. I have 4 briefs of various marquees (all RWD tho) and all for under 5k in total. It improves reliability when you have backup options.
Do it.

Just need to find some storage!

Do it, I love my 328 sport. Admittedly I havnt driven it since May but I don't intend to ever sell it. It drives like a much newer car than they are. I have coilovers in my boot ready to fit, as well as the rear trailing arm bushes. They almost all go on the rear arches, mine has minor bubbling as well. Most parts are not that expensive either.

Sitting in it now. Newish looking battery but had to jump start it. Apart from that everything seems to work :/

Mine didn't start after 3 weeks sat idle, probably an alarm drain.
Well what do you think then? What is there not to work?
I am guessing electric windows and mirrors and that's about all you need, oh yeah and wipers etc!
If there is anything wrong with the central locking it is normally the boot wiring the breaks, easy to fix as well

Test drive complete! Very impressed by it dynamically felt tight and planted gearchange was very nice. No slack in the drivetrain and no bangs or groans coming from the diff and rear trailing arms. However there was an almighty hesitation all throughout the rev range whilst under load. revved fine whilst in neutral but as soon as you floored it or applied any throttle it hesitated and revved very badly. So I didn't buy but it has definitely made me want one so I'm gunna keep my eye out for one. Quite proud that I didn't just buy it! My old me would have Haha ;D
