Deary me. The reaction on VZi has been illuminative of where at least some of the Dub scene is going. I'm so glad I joined up to this place - I went to Dubfreeze one year and felt a bit annoyed that watercooled cars were in the show and shine (I know, it was a long time ago). Now I've realised that at least 3/4 of the VW scene is just fashion or lifestyle orientated and not about the cars at all. I have RR to thank for removing my indoctrinated badge bigotry. ;D Oh, and I'd probably roll either of those. Preferably with something meaty in the engine department just to annoy people.

Darren - I think those chain number plate surrounds would look ace on the Corsa

I like long walks, especially when they're taken by people I don't like.

Darren - I think those chain number plate surrounds would look ace on the Corsa Funny, I had an idea about number plates on the way to work this morning... ...and even funnier, I was wandering round halfords last night just to see if there was anything I could make use of in a random way (there may be, I bought a length of washing line rope for £1 ;D ) and I had a great idea involving a length of chain! Well, I think it's great anyway, no idea what anyone else will say ;D I just need to source a supercheap really bulky looking padlock, doesn't need to be a good one... Pound shop at lunch time? I think so ;D

off VZI I actually fancy that as a concept! Just saved before the Builder nailed the coffin shut on the old thing. - Just like Ms R's dad did on his Pinto'd Sierra estate. yep that is right neglect does kill, even pintos! 'Ex-bulder look' transit sounds wicked! Really!

Like I said in previous posts, using retro-rides has opened my eyes to cars/marques that I would never have got excited about before. For example vauxhall (a bit uninspiring IOM) but rat-look lend itself really well to vauxhalls, and I love rat-look!

Does stating in a controlled and sensible manned dictate siliness? I just really like to point out that "Jesus not more fecking snotty shitters on the road, patina is one thing, rusty fecking curse word heaps is another" is exactly what the much coveted rusty old busses are.
Gah I hate blinkered people (understands the irony in that statement).

Brilliant! I love those vauxhalls, I'd like to see a rat loo Mk1 Astra van.
I'm amazed at how narrow minded some people can be, but each to thier own, regardless of how wrong they are

Its like some people who say like Mantas say that they hate Capris and vice versa, I don't get it? they're both great cars, a lot of people feel they have to belong to just one club and turn their nose up at any other manfufacturer, sometimes even cars of the same make, like only their car make and model was the only great car ever made. I saw people get peed off on the manta forum for someone posting an ascona for sale??! and a Rekord just coz it wasnt a manta. The diversity of here is spot on.

stolen from VZi where they got a slatting,... VW scene in narrow minded one marque shocker I expect they got a slating for not being a VW. Or for 'copying' something that is exclusive copyright of 'indervidjewal' dubberz. PMSL!! ;D So true though....

they are just curse word off because they have been beaten at their own game yet again!

some of the comments are fair enough (not liking the actual cars, but acknowledging that there's hard work gone into them) but "all vauxhalls are curse word" or whatever someone posted..... typical!
