I was thinking (itself a dangerous thing) that the Trans Am is a bit modern for me. I thought this after one of those "open the bonnet, look at all the pipes-n-wires-n-curse word, close bonnet" moments that I should get shot of it in favour of an earlier model muscle type car. Something 70s (I can't even afford to dream of the 60s stuff now) So why in Gods name have I just had to restrain myself from calling the guy selling this:I think there's no helping me

If the guy would swap it then there would be an inexplicable Oldsmobile presence at chez Akku.

Isn't the TransAm Mrs Kus favourite whip? I can totally seeing where your coming from with the pipes and wire thing, the Prelude has me getting a bit of a sweat on just thinking about unpluging stuff incase I can't remember where it came from....
That Delta is cool though.....

Isn't the TransAm Mrs Kus favourite whip? It is, which was why I was thinking of something similar but older. I suppose this is the answer... or this

I love big American Barges but no ones that look like American Police Cruisers.......I think an earlier muscle car is the best idea. You get a big lazy V8 and an Auto box and you get to keep the Mrs. on side!

Aye, if I bought that Olds it would need to be cheaper than it is and I'd paint it all black and lose the light bars

All cool love 'em all, and being over here in the states for the last month hasnt reduced my want for another yank tank, I've been scanning ebay for 2nd gens as well, but I'm holding out for a manual, just cant bear another Auto in anything coupe shaped or under 2 tons...
Mind you the 6.8 L Triton V10 massivley undertuned with 305 hp and 420 lb·ft in the RV i rented would be frappin awesome unshackled from 6 tons of formica and lazy slushbox and squeezed into a second gen Poncho (it'd upset all the right chev/ford people too)
