UPDATE: 23-08-2010 - PAINT. So in 4 weeks from friday i go to belguim so i thought i better get on and paint it. So on saturday morning i went into work and one of the panel beaters did the panlel work for me then i primed it all down and painted it. Whats its been painted with before is curse word and is like rubber So after alot of feathere it out and getting down to a good base i degreased it, masked it all up, etched it and then primed it with a good few coats of 2k primer. Over the next week ill block it all down and then get it ready to hopefully paint it next saturday. On the ramp so didnt have to bend down All Buzzed down: Masked up: Etched: Primed: Should be all good for 4 weeks time and ive got so much to do before then

Its painted Went for a standard ish colour, its lighter but basically i couldnt find the colour on the paint system at work so used a machine called a spectrometer which looks at the colour and uses a some kind of vodoo magic to look at it and find the closest match. The closest was a Merc colour but i decided to go a little lighter with this GM colour. Should look nice with the black wheels i hope. Got the week off next week so may try get some bits fitted up, not gona have chance to get the stuff re-cromed or the interior died and carpets died. But will still be low and different which is my kind of thing So here it is all masked up in the booth: Put a black basecoat down to help with the coverage to use less paint: Forgot to get some pics of when it was in green basecoat but here it is all lacquered up, has a few good coats on it so will block down easily and polish up very nicely:

started to fit a few bits up, the lacquer has pulled in on a few places but should be ok and may need to blow in the front wings a bit where its reacted badly but that will be a later date job or if i have time. bumpers will be going on this week and then springs next week, then install.

It's great to see more photos of it, I spoke to you at Billing about it the other week, Don't change the colour though, I think it suits it perfectly!
