I love it. I love all of it, but most of all I love that canted-back mushroom-topped Rootes gearlever. It's just SO cool.

I'm loving that!! got a real soft spot for 60,s rootes product. ... I miss that car more than any ive ever had. I'll second that. Great to drive, real comfy, relatively frugal with oodles of character. Simple tech too so there's not much to go wrong --Phil

That looks mint mate, it reminds me of my '64 hillman superminx 1725: Yours looks a lot more tidy though, mine needs a lot of welding underneath, plus a new head gasket :/ I hope you'll treat it with respect

Always really liked the early ones like this, with the wrap-around rear window. Yours looks great, with a very smart colour scheme ;D

thats a really nice car you have there mate.. one word of advice IF the area around the screen is good (especially the channels inside the door either side that act like gutters, rustproof them really well as when they go it is a PITA to repair

me an Jimmy met up with the humber sceptre an his early superminx to see just how like they actually was.. was surprising that the only bits that seemed to match were the front wings an the boot and bonnet ! everything else was sublty different in shape. don't know how to link photos from facebook but it says I can share the album by putting this link up www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1448542215158.63313.1281280532&l=6cc8d80ed2
