I came in from the garage, I've just about finished the annual rearranging of what is in the way in the garage and what is stuffed up in the loft (based on a vague expectations of what I might do with the next 6 months) and as I wheel a pair of Keystone Klassics through the kitchen on their way to the attic my wife looks up from her baking and says
"I hope I die before you do because there's no f---ing way I'm sorting all your s--t out when you are gone"
I thought that was a touching moment we shared together there.

I can step in at this point using "Real Proper Man Logic" simply tell your concerned and wonderful spouse that In the event of your sad demise I myself will be available to sort out and reappropriate aformentioned car s--t free of charge, this selfless act on my behalf is what friends are for in hard times.

Give her my number. I'll happily (though obviously in a suitably sombre mood) clear all the wheels out of the loft/garage so she won't have to deal with them herself

And I'll help clear the backlog of baked produce, shame to waste it, women lose their appetite in grief.

The wife says that is about right. I have far too much tat hanging around in the way, not all of it car-related. I think I can get away with it considering I had the engine from the GTA in the bedroom for three months...

"We're having friends around, we can't have a house full of car panels, put them in the cellar or something." I went for 'something' and hid the above behind the furniture in the room so successfully the guests didn't notice.

I pity the person that gets to sort out my curse word when I die. Luckily, the world will end not long after my triumphant demise so it wont really matter I struggle to remember what half the stuff I have is for, never mind someone not ingrained in the same stuff as I. I know for a fact the Wartburg front and rear screens will stump the very most dedicated, as will the JawaCZ 250cc engine, Cadillac steel wheel and all the BMW E12 trim. Good luck little brother.

My newly wed wife said to me after our "honeymoon" in Florida (which consisted of attending 6 car events and 4 bike events) - "It hasn`t been a very romantic honeymoon has it. You have several hundred photos of cars and bikes and not one of us together" OOOOOOps ! They just don`t understand.
