Never mind, mum to the rescue. Just rang her and she's going to pick some up for me tomorrow I think some organisation is needed to stop it from looking just like a carpark, but not so much that it looks like a shop display. Adam

I hope the Nymph goes through it MOT ok or i will be bringing the Range Rover which wouldent really work on the RR stand. as do i, the nymph is awesome. speaking of MOTs i figured a way to secure the bonnet without drilling holes! i just bolted the normal hinges on and rotate the headlights whenever i need to open the bonnet. score! its secure and theres access to underneath although the buggy looks doubtful at CARS since it needs 2 things: 1. MOT pass. iv left it to late methinks 2. a sunny day for the show. no roof and rusty floor.

Get that tyre changed and book it in somewhere old car friendly. Atleast if it fails you know what needs doing. Try Eagle autos in Banbury.
If it rains you just need a decent coat with a hood ;D

i would get a coat but I'm more worried about the car. i really don't think it would like the rain much. i can imagine toys being hurled from prams.

Well however gay the name thing is, as ive never met any of you (bar hotwire and ratlook), i am making a suitably retro T-shirt with blown imp on the back!
No order sounds good, but a nice sweeping arc of cars would be viewer friendly.
I am so excited!

Not been before and really looking forward to it. We can probably bring a gazebo on the Sunday if its needed - let me know and we'lll bung it in the car/camper. There's a chance we may actually turn up on the Sunday in both vehicles (was originally planning just the Herald) Will that make things tight car-pass wise? Flyers or something in the windscreen would definitely help tie all the RR cars together... Mmm, might wear my UKK shirt with my name on

2. a sunny day for the show. no roof and rusty floor. Tch, what kind of RR member are you? Throw caution to the wind and let the rusting commence ( continue?!). Or form a makeshirt tonneu cover from a tarp and stick on velco- classy.

Newsflash.... The Official R-R Support Sambasauras Drag Bus is looking doubtful as to it's attendance at CaRS.... Oh no! We will be picking our 'Roger' up from the docks on Saturday after his adventure across the pond - not quite as retro as our official support bus of course, (and I won't get the chance to get the wheels in the arches before the show) but the offer is there as a replacement if required. He has the ability to heat plenty of water for many cups-o-tea, and of course a fridge to keep the beers nice and cold... (It also means I get somewhere comfy to sleep the night before instead of having to do with hotel Datsun!)

We can't do big archs of cars because I don't think we'll have enough room to do it! ... How about if we all park at the same angle.. in two rows? That'll differentiate us from the car park for a start! Also allow those that are stripping to get out and get to the strip. SS : Roger would be most welcome That is some serious support bus. RK : oh no! on the Support bus front. But if Abi will insist on going and giving it serious amounts of power...

I know! Silly Girl! It does make me think what it's gonna go like when the clutch isn't slipping like fury and and the exhaust is replaced by a proper 'RNJ Motorsport' (Judgie) header and muffler instead of the knackered old thing thats on there..... w00tage.
