Yup that be ma Lada, It will need welding for a MOT and I neither own or know how to use a welder From looking at the past purchases of bidders so far it's going to get bangered but it's not like they are not still in production! I would do the whole save it from bangers speil but if they are the only people willing to stump up the cash then they can do what they like with it, I've had my fun out of it and will probably own another at some point:), would have to be an older model though!

Erm, I'm pretty sure its not chain driven FWD on the Olds, same front transaxle as the Caddy Eldorado etc use. Although I've never had one appart so... They are supposed to be a really good driving car but because they are FWD most of the typical yank enthusiasts aren't bothered with them. They are weirdness itself stylingwise. I think they are great. Make a good winter car for me huh? Marylin Manson's lowrider was not a Mk1 Continental. It was a 1968 Lincoln Continental Town Sedan. The "Mark" series Continental is a completely different car, just to confuse matters. This is the Mk1

Don't those Toronados have chain-driven FWD? *n Nowt wrong with that. Plenty of Range Rovers have chain drive transfer boxes. Is the high bidder for that Arna Twigzy from here?

I never said there was anything wrong with it Just checking to see if that hole in my brain has been plugged by the correct bit of info. *n

That's fugly However, I'm a big fan of the 1st generation ones, as they look amazing (different nose, no vinyl rood & slightly different tail)

I still regret not buying a really nice 1st gen one for £1995 ono a few years back. Thats technically still a 1st gen although its the facelifted version. Could have had a '72 for £1200 with T&T a while back but didn't as I couldn't be arzed to go down to Devon for it.

I keep thinking of the "Tainted love" Marilyn Manson track when he turns up in the "gothed" low rider. that caddy is more boss hogg than marylin manson. ;D mm's motor was a mk1 lincoln conty wasnt it? I believe others have said it was a town car. But it would be so easy to turn any big yank convertible 4 seater into a chariot of darkness. Just need enough satin black.
