21TPhase 1 and Phase 2 - easy to tell apart physically - but what is difference bewtweenPhase 2 and Phase 3? 92 would make it a K -one of the last ones? Phase 3 runs coil packs . Also different hydraulic clutch setup which is curse word so mines been converted to phase 1 . Not sure what else differs as I've not done much to it yet .It's the daily driver but may well become mine alone once the GTA is done . I sorted the belt Cobblers ,thanks for the input .

Turbo oil drain rerouted .Pirtek in Derby while you wait . Starter was playing up when we were bedding in the cams .It will spin up fine but was getting caught when the engine fired up .Too much throw I think and it can't get away fast enough so I've spaced it out a bit more and hope for the best . I've just wired up the electric water pump .I need to source a new alternator belt ,multi 5 V about this long ish ?? Ring a bell with anyone ?

Twin is best on a V . I'll be doing it that way on stage 2 of the GTA engine development .Single turbo fed from both sides in it's current form .

Ahh well ...if your budget will stretch then all is possible Lump back out from under now the cams are run in . Got to make up new water routing and fit electric pump . I've been trying to avoid this but a charge cooler is going in as well .Cheap but solid Hong Kong Phooey design . Remote oil filter/sensor plate/oil cooler . No space at the filter port on the block now .Remote stuff comes from a Renault 25T so is perfect .

God that's an old clip !! Yes ,that was the first time I'd ever been on a rolling road ....Completely std I think at that point .Torque is what the GTA is all about . I don't know much about the 24 valve heads apart from they are rarer than any other PRV unit .All I can really comment on is that all the Renault heads are not much cop .The 3l 610/bi-saf Turbo ones are no better if not worse than the 2.5 in std form . 24 valves are Atmo lumps and a few of the guys have dropped them into GTAs with good results in std trim .How they would respond to being blown I don't know but I would guess it will take just as much effort to get them anywhere .

What rolling road ?
The project aim is to get the most out of the std GTA 7ZU lump .A lot of headwork has been done and the PRV heads are all pretty much of a muchness .

It's not in as such but it is running and looking promising It needs some more thought on the turbo drain and the starter needs adjustment .Intercooling will go water/air chargecooler X-Power styley for now .

Is that quite a simple shape datman or is it fairly intricate? *EDIT* just seen the pics - sounds like a good price! I don't have space for anything that big yet though! I would have thought I'd be looking at about £25 for a mini subframe as a rough guess. Sound reasonable? I just paid £25 to get my GTA engine cradle and anti roll done so I think you're about right .What he did say to me was the more bits the cheaper as he can then stack them up and doesn't waste a lot of time and sand .I shall be collecting a few bits for next time .tch coat just done ,off to do the top coat in a mo after a tinnie to wash the taste away ;D

Yep ,Adaptronic in UK . Bonus being they also know the system inside out as well .I've known the guy that runs it for ages and he certainly knows his stuff .We have installed Adapt and mapped 3 other GTA since doing mine .It's a very good system with loads of features .
