I want a cub 90, but to be honest, they are a lot for what I need. Seeing as a cub 90 is about £450 for a modernish one (the uglier type), you have to bear in mind that I would be removing a majority of the stock parts to emulate something similar to above, even just the frame is £125, and thats too much for a frame in my opinion. if you're removing stock parts you won't be left with much that looks ugly? I think Cubs are getting a bit like VDubs...plenty of 'scene tax' added. check local rags, bargain pages, newsagents etc, you might find 1 that someone doesn't know the exploited value of it

'You'll know the stylish Vauxhall Cavalier MK2. Love these. Must have a ridiculously poor survival rate - loads of them one minute, all gone the next! What went on there? It stinks.' if its any consolation, this reg no came from one & still survives!

i'll be there again, Ypres rally first for a week then down to the small hovel for the Classic. i get to park inside circuit with the missus's Blue Badge & share a picnic hamper with the B-in -Law from the Maserati encampment. don't know how many people are aware of this but this year at the 24hr , on the fri there is a freecar show at St Saturnin just north of ring road, Morgan the car of choice for this year & also in Mulsanne village centre another 'free' car show ie if your cars interesting enough you get to park inside & get free drinks voucher

general concencus is ....
both 6K in principle as seat regard the mk3 more as a facelift because the platform hadn't altered design but the 6K2 seems to be widely adopted and useful to seperate the two
>>> 6K_X_399999 is the last mk2 /// 6K_X_400000 >>> for mk3
for the anoraks the factory dates mk2 last run was 30.06.99 & mk3 started 01.03.1999 so a few months crossover
