Jeeeeeeez! Just spent 2 and a half hours of works time reading through this bad-boy today. Started at about 7.30am and just finished.
All I can say is.....Wow! That is some staying power and Mr. Gimp must be one of the best mates in the entire world (either that or you've got dodgy pictures of him in a compromising situation)
Good on ya and glad it's 'home straight' time almost.
Also, just a tad envious.....mutter...mutter...mutter.......

Any ideas where to get belts from? As I know absolutely nothing about lathes, other than they look like a proper toy which I need to get round to learning how to use, I can't say with any authority on where you'd get a replacement belt...................but, surely these guys would be able to help. www.lathes.co.uk/page4.htmlGoogle is your friend (hopefully) HTH Alex

God damn, I want an E30 325 again. This looks nice but the Mrs. would have me flayed if I added another car to the list.
Good luck with the sale.

This board just makes me want to buy stuff I have no rational need for and will never get time to drive.........it's absolute quality Nice P100, very cool Q-car. Bet it can get some good old sideways action as well, with no weight over the back axle. Have a free bump. AL.

It's impossible from 2 litres without forced induction ho is it type rs manage 200 bhp with no forced induction True, but you only get 142 lb/ft of torque from a Civic type R engine. Big torque usually only comes with big capacity or forced induction as mentioned above. AL.

I can't believe my eyes....a Fiat that has been stored in th UK for years and it still looks solid...no obvious rust and a great platform for a cool project.
You might get more if you include the rat ;D
Free bump for a cool mid engined proper retro ride.

Free bump to a very cool car.
My dad had the 2.8GL in the 80's and I've always loved the old Grannys. If I had the garage space for my top 50 cars this would be in there.
Cheers
Alex
