****************************************************
Car began life as a blue H reg 1.8 8v standard big bumper model. Over £20k has been spent however the flip paint has been damaged on the drivers side after the filling of the fuel cap was not done correctly and was painted to early. The filler expanded and damaged the paint which has now been sanded over but never repainted or finished. All of the parts above were brought brand new, nothing on this car was 2nd hand.
The car is taxed and mot’d, handles like it is on rails and was pretty damm quick last time it was run. It has been sat at the local garage now for sometime as my friend has not had anytime to pick it up. It has bearly covered 3k miles since all these mods, however my friend who owns it has now had enough of it and has a deal to put in for SCRAPPAGE on 1 sep!!!
If you would like to make an offer on the car over and above the scrappage allowence or would like to purchase parts, my friend has said it all can come off and be exchanged providing the car still has an engine and can be driven in to the showroom!!!
Whilst this car is not the show car it could have been the sum of its parts make it impressive…. And definatley worth salvaging parts from at least if not saving the vehicle as a project, the engine cost over £6k alone to build and set up!
There is probably alot more I ve not mentioned such as all the rubber seals being replaced with genuine vw items at a cost of over £500... that sort of thing! Please ring or email my mate below for more info
I am not able to respond to messages as I am away from tonight till 7 Sep but please contact James on 0774 0474477 by text or call or email james.gardiner@me.com
This car will need a little fettling particularly with the carbs
but is far to good to scrap....
