Cheers for your kind words, only got round to sorting out the looks so far, dumped it and fitted the Hillman Imp hubcaps.
Need to fit a bigger engine, but I'll wait till I have a clean licence for that ;D

Will be there in the Benz... Be good to see one up close - yours isn't the slammed one I keep seeing go past in Bungay is it? Have been that way a few times in the last couple of weeks. Been helping a friend who's trying to sell her house there. Haven't seen your Merc though.

Don't want to go another summer using universal roof bars. I think can adapt a Desmo roof rack to fit my Pao...and then still be able to open the roof.
Everyone I see on Ebay is miles away, anyone got anything in Norfolk/Suffolk?

Retro-Kites on Retro Rides, Vipers are great old school kites.
Iwould be interested if I hadn't only just used up all my Kite budget for the year on my last Blade IV.

Mines only lowered 35mm just doing the springs, and the middle grounds out on bigger speed bumps. I just went out and measured the clearance 90mm on the sump and 95mm on the exhaust at the rear just by the rear axle. You haven't got a lot of room to play with.

Mine usually got bikes, landboards or a kite buggy.
I quite fancy going to VW show with an Ironing board, Iron and linen basket, strapped on but can't be bothered to drive the distance.

I would say its exempt from Road Fund Licence, I can remember when my MG qualified the last year of the rolling 25 years. I was always worried there was going to be a sting in the tail with my exempt vehicle, but it still hasn't happened.
I thought the old justification of having to display a RFL disc to prove MOT and Insurance was valid to an extent but the cost was excessive, but now it all computerised and plod can see who has the relavent documentation why does it still carry on.
Its a licence not a tax.
