this is brilliant, is there any way u could just have the lense up the kit and run wires down the the camera on the ground?? u could take a shot when ever u want then I guess there is but likely to work out expensive and I'm a cheapskate. MK11 went rather well, and will work on any of my kites so I have wind speed range of 5 to 50mph. Haqven't got a show to go to for two weeks now, but will post up some pictures of that and simple how then.

Thats a cool idea Where on the kite do you attach it? - to the flying lines or the kite itself? Recently bought an Ozone Imp which is ace and really pulld for its type/size - now looking to get a bigger 4-line kite. Had no wind recently though! Last night attempt was using a flexi Super 10 a two line power kites and stacking a spar from a Stacker Six lower down the lines which has the housing for the camera. Tonight I'll be trying on one of Flexi Blades as I can hold them still easier, the 8.5m will sit in the same spot all day long. Have a few ideas on how to attach the camera but none tested. Once I've perfected it will take some pictures of the set up. Imps are great starter kites build up your muscles and reaction times.

Kool!! Great idea. What sort of camera? Is it taking stills or are you using a video camera and then taking still from the video? Using a cheapie (Technika 5 mega pixels) from a well known supermarket, its on a time delay so takes a picture ever two seconds. For 29 quid its a better camera than the one I wrecked on the beach a few weeks back getting sand in the motorised zoom lens. Problem was the kite was moving about so much out of 200 pictures about five were in focus.

Don't know if anyone else has tried but always thought it would be good to get some aerial shots from a few shows. I'm a big kite fan usually big Flexi Blades, but inspired from some pictures from a kite cam I thought I would give it a go. Results from prototype one wasn't two bad I suppose but need a more stable kite and the camera was still working when it hit the ground. Picture quality Forgot to add the tracks were left by a 4x4 to five you an idea of scale.

Dammit!! I was there yesterday and all that was cruising the strip was the most ridiculous Honda Civic I have ever seen and some bland Euro-Boxes. The only decent things were a white Capri and what I think was miaspa's uber-cool Pao parked up outside one of the Arcade's. Was the Civic the one with the huge tea tray, needed a spirit level it looked on the wonk to me. I saw the Capri too, looked good. I was out on the beach doing a bit of static flying with my 8.5m Blade after 6pm its free parking and the beach is empty. ;D

I like the wheels, but I think you need white band tyres! Not the full whitewall, just a thin band. Does anyone do this using white tyre paint, flaps only last me three months the Pao does in excess of 12K a year if you see where I,m coming from. I did think about buying some and painting in the tyre brand and the name of tyres but wasn't sure if that would work. As my hands not steady enough for circles.

Sold a Rover 414 I wrote off to guy who made me an offer I couldn't refuse I had intended to keep it as I wanted the engine for my Midget.
Couldn't find the V5, but sold the car on without it and just kept his details, gave them to the Police when they phoned me up to remove it from Thetford Forest. Saw it a few weeks later on the back of a truck on my way to work.
My brother did a part ex on his MK5 RS2000, and recieved loads of tickets for it speeding on Southend Sea front, garage sold it on and didn't bother filling out the V5.
One phone call both times and the problem disappeared.

I had to bin the tape adaptor in my dads car - the tape hiss drowned out the music :-) I've given up on MP3 through the tape deck, found a few local charity shops selling original tape albums for 30p gives me an excuse to buy more tat.
