Bit late to the party here, but saab and vauxhall 5 stud alloys will definitely fit each other PCD and centre bore wise, but as for offset, there could possibly be issues in some cases, from vectra B onwards (1998?)for sure, it was GM's "Epsilon" Platform. Until what year this is true for I am not sure, my Vectra C daily is still the same fitment but I have heard that the new(ish) astra GTC isn't, though I haven't researched that.
Even if this info is too late for you, it might help someone else.

Lol, what I know for sure is, if I'd never sold any of my cars I could be loaded now, or more broke, or dead, or LOADED, funny though I have an incredible gift, I've always sold them at the absolute bottom of their value.

Interior looks great, do the front seats have adjustable side bolsters? I had one in about 98 that was an 83 saloon in a lovely (!?) light metallic green with beige/gold interior. As I remember it was a nice old thing to drive with enough poke to keep me happy at 18 for about 6 months (Astra gte came after). Good luck with it I am not sure about the bolsters, I know the seats have a lot of adjustments, so it's possible, especially being an 83 car with rear electric windows!. I've had 2 mk2 astra gte's wish I still had either of them, oh well

These old 626s bring back fond memories as my grandad bought one of the very first in to Britain upon his retirement back in 1983 in Silhouette blue. Does yours still play the little tune for warning the doors are left open? Love the Velourtastic 80s interior! To be honest I don't know, it hasn't had a battery on in at least 20 years, I am hoping so though, that interior is amazing, sadly it's missing the parcel shelf and rear headrests at the minute but hopefully I can either find or fabricate something suitably awesome when it comes to it, plenty to do before then.

So the story goes, 1994, my mum bought a new car and parked this up in what is now a tumbledown garage, I was tasked with clearing the cars from the house for the scrapping, but having fond memories of this car, decided to save it, yes I may live to regret it, anyway here's what I went to move today and start a painful and expensive project.

Oh, I think that's maybe the same guy then isn't it?, when ours are both roadworthy, we should maybe try and get them together.

Does that guy have a hatchback?, very impressive the work you have done on this twice so far, well done, there aren't many about at all, saw a green one sell a few months ago, I've seen your one and mine, someone said a white one was advertised somewhere but I haven't found it, there is a guy on oldjapanesecar with a few of them, I think you are aware of, but it's very quiet over there, was hoping to ask him if he knew of a boot lid. mine could be repaired if push comes to shove though I reckon.

Not much to tell, no floor, no sills, doors folded off they were so rotten, shoved it half way up the steep drive got to winch it the rest of the way for the scrap man.
The yaris is also facing same fate, it's not rusty but it's beaten to hell with mushrooms growing in it.
The mazda in the garage is now all mine :-)

Glad you are getting it back on the road again, where are you managing to find panels?, I need a boot lid for my 1983 Gc hatch, so nothing you need don't worry :-)

1988 Honda Ballade 1.5, not moved since 1995, until Me and my mate dragged it out of there with a neighbouring yaris, which hadn't run for 9 years!
