I would love a Trabant, I do have a twisted kind of "so curse word its great" kind of thinking sometimes though, which is why if I ever bought a bike again it would be Dnepr.
So I am afraid I can't convince you not to buy one, unless you take it as warning enough that a fan of Dnepr motorcycles, Zetor tractors, 80's mazda's and Push-powered lawn mowers also likes them?

I would love it if someone got to the bottom of this, I can't stop keeping coming back for another look to see if anyone has solved it.
It does look like the driver is sitting in the middle at first look, but I cant help thinking maybe the driver is tiny and its a dude leaning in from the back seat, sort of looks like there might be a face in the right position for a tiny driver?
if that car from the original picture does exist, I REALLY want to see more pictures, it fries my brain to look at.

Not too sure about the smaller ones, my dad had a 407D and it was seriously slow and not very good on fuel, very wallowy, vague steering, phone in your braking request but very comfy seats and it actually NEVER broke running-gear wise and held a strange sort of charm. The bodywork constantly snapped, cracked and generally disintegrated, You also sometimes got electric shocks from the frame of the drivers seat as the battery lived under there and sometimes the battery or something else worked loose, touched the frame and got you.
It was pretty cack, but kept on running.

I bought these off my father in law when he broke a Merc a while back and they are just in my way really, one of the front ones has a dent in it, not cracked or anything, but unfortunate, was going to get it straightened, but being as I have nothing they will fit, I can't be bothered. The narrower tyres are legal, the wider two are very good. 8.5j and 9.5j et35?, 30 something not very clear. I have put reps as they say made in China on the back and I doubt AMG buy from China? Well kerbed. £70 ono

Hiya Jack, No you didn't say that!, yeah it is the 2.0, handily there is a stream running through the yard so I can give it wash with some wild Welsh water at the weekend, then more pic's looking a bit less derelict Holes aren't so bad really, not for how they could have been, but I'm yet to REALLY look under it, that might end meaning I use it for spares and find another car from 'somewhere'

I hated these until I worked on one and took it for a test drive and loved it by the time I got back, so much so, I found one for my sister (my better half still hates them).
I binned the broken spare wheel windy mech and used the back plate of the broken mech to weld a big bit of threaded bar too, which I spun on a vauxhall spare wheel holder nut thing to go through centre of spare and hold it up, just an idea for you if yours breaks, but you have probably got a way of fixing them if you have had four.
Obviously, I like it, nice work!
