Hi before I pester your dad with a call can you tell me if this is a twin fan model ie another fan in front of the fan. Might sound a strange question but there is a reason for it. One other question what is the mileage and any history.
Cheers
Karl

Lovely Jag GLWTS. I am looking to buy one but still deciding between XJ40 or X300. The only reason I haven't decided to look at yours is that there are loads locally to choose from. These cars are such a great price at the moment.

Oh meant to add there used to be a 1990 G reg facelift MK2 escort in gold around the NEC area of Birmingham in the mid 90's.

I remember seeing a few Maestro vans on ebay on 51 reg, turns out some were built from spares or something. I'm sure someone on here knows the full story. The late Maestro's you see on R plate and beyond are likely from Ledbury in Worcester. They were assembled from parts mainly returned from the failed Rodacar (sp?) in Bulgaria. I was an apprentice at Rover Group at the time and had put my name down for a job there. Can't remember exactly why the project collapsed, it may have been something to do with the BMW take over, but that's just my speculation.

I like this a lot. Tried to get a quote through confused classic car insurance but couldn't get a quote today will try some brokers tomorrow. Question do you have a pic of the alloys that it will come on, and what has happened to the original BRM ones? I wouldn't want to travel Birmingham to Middlesborough / Glasgow twice so would probably have to wait until its available to only do one trip.

Hi, can you tell me what the mileage is please and does it have any history at all? What rough area of Birmingham are you and do you have a contact number?
Cheers

Had to scrap my first car which was a chevette and explains my love for these. That car was ace and in the 10 months I had it I went everywhere (well seemed like it). I swear that it had been tweaked slightly as the previous owner only used to use it in bad weather to save his healey, and I've had two others that were never quite as fast. Anyway all my mates had mk3 escorts and Minis but I loved my Chevette and was saving every penny for a HSR kit from Peter Maiden and also a X Flow conversion. Then one night I got home and parked up when a passing mate asked if I could drop him home, of course I did and on the way there got side swiped by a driver with no lights on :-(. Car was a wreck I remember walking home with just me stereo and auto lock in my hands ENX184Y the best car I ever owned.

Sickening to watch this morning. One of the worse things I've seen in a long time. Marco was a very exciting rider, very old school. Great article in bike last month about him. RIP

Sorry to ask all but I need some advice quickish. My mom has just gone on hols and has asked me to replace her stereo in her 106 as the one installed is too complex for her. She wants something simple FM and CD under £50 so far I have tried Halfords with a blank, Amazon blank and Aldi maybe The one installed is a Sony minidisc head unit with multichanger that I then need to get rid of. Any help appreciated and have a few of my old uns for your time. My Chevette which I miss daily Never really knew what the fuss was abaout.

Hi the oil leak looks like its a top gasket and the sump plug. It leaks a fair amount but not hugely excessively. Hope that helps.

Had a 95 airflow til last year, even though it was a GM model it was awesome. Went into the coventry dealer about 12 months ago and the cars looked good even the new 95. I look forward to getting a 900 classic one day.
